Ethan James is the Blue Dino Ranger from Power Rangers Dino Thunder, which first aired in 2004. He is portrayed by Kevin Duhaney.

Ethan is a highly intelligent and logical teenager, initially somewhat insecure and awkward. His interests lie primarily in science, technology, and computers. His initial lack of confidence stemmed from being perceived as a "nerd," but his time as a Power Ranger allowed him to develop his self-assurance.

As the Blue Ranger, Ethan's Dino Gem grants him powers based on the Parasaurolophus dinosaur, including enhanced strength and the ability to create a defensive shield. He is the counterpart to Yukito Sanjo/AbareBlue from the Super Sentai series, Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger, which Power Rangers Dino Thunder is adapted from.
